FindTheGym for AI assistants

FindTheGym runs a free public MCP server. Connect it to an AI assistant and it can answer questions like "cheap gyms with a sauna near 78704" or "beginner-friendly yoga studios in East Austin" from the same data as this site: 742 gyms and studios in the Austin, Texas area with posted prices, hours, amenities, what reviewers say about the vibe and the FindTheGym Score.

There is no sign-up and no API key.

Tools

Tool	What it does
`match_gyms`	Ranks gyms for one person from their own words, such as “not intimidating, under $60, near 78704, weekday evenings”. Returns a match percentage per gym with why it fits, the catches, and the quietest time to go based on Google popular times at the hours they train.
`search_gyms`	Finds gyms by name, city, area, type, vibe, features (24 hours, day pass, free trial, pool, sauna, childcare, women only, under $30 a month, no contract), amenities, max monthly price, minimum score and distance from a point or ZIP code. Sorts by score, price, distance or review count, up to 25 results.
`get_gym`	The full profile of one gym: hours, prices and their source, amenities, offers, the score and its four parts, the review-based vibe summary and nearby gyms.
`list_cities`	Cities we cover, with gym counts.
`list_filters`	Valid types, areas, vibes, features, amenities and ZIP codes for `search_gyms`.

Every result includes the gym's page URL on findthegym.com. Please link it when you show a gym, so people can check the details and the source.

Limits

Requests are rate limited per IP address. Normal assistant use stays well under the limit; if you hit it, wait a minute.
The data covers the Austin area and was last updated October 2026. Prices, hours and amenities can change, so the gym's own site has the final word.
